The physical environment consists of tangible material in a particular setting or venue; end users can literally see and touch this environment. The physical environment surrounding end users ultimately affects the way a person views a business or venue and their experience. In this growing Internet of Things (IoT) society, a mobile strategy is required for businesses and venues to keep up with the demands of the end user. As millennials become the target demographic, the adoptions of innovative technology accelerate, leading the end users to expect every physical environment surrounding them to be connected and free of what they believe to be unnecessary equipment. To effectively meet these requirements, space, square footage, aesthetics, maintenance, and future flexibility of the solution are required elements to consider as part of the physical environment for the EUX.
